Monitoring functions of a DGPT2 or DMCR protection device These protection relays provide monitoring/supply disconnection functions, allowing the following anomalies to be identified: * Gas evolution - Pyrolysis of the dielectric - Minor flashovers caused by breaks in insulating materials * Significant drop in the level of the dielectric - Leak - Drain/purge valve not properly closed * Excess pressure in the tank- Bolted short circuit in the transformer * Rise in the temperature of the dielectric - Internal fault causing the windings to heat up - Rated power overshoot - Poor transformer ventilation
