Dielectric fluid retention system In an environmental protection context, the retention system used must be capable of containing the total quantity of dielectric fluid, unless otherwisespecified by local regulations. It may comprise:- a raised door threshold if the plantroom floor is oil tight,- a low oil tight wall around the transformer,- a steel trough positioned beneath the transformer. In the last two cases, ensure that the system does not adversely affect transformercooling by preventing air circulation around the tank cooling fins. |
